Lucky for you, because all ACUVUE® disposable contact lenses comply with stringent American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and International Organisation of Standardisation (ISO) standards, they are proven to be the most effective UV-blocking disposable contact lenses available today. Tests conducted by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) have shown that ACUVUE® lenses can block at least 82% of UV-A and 97% of UV-B light from being transmitted to the cornea and eyeball, substantially reducing the risk of damage to the eyes.
