Gas Permeability: Contact lenses should be thin with high gas permeability to ensure more oxygen reaches your eyes. ACUVUE® disposable contact lenses have excellent oxygen permeability, ensuring your eyes can 'breathe' freely.
Moisture content: This refers to the amount of water present in the lenses. According to the United States Food and Drug Administration, a moisture content of more than 50% is considered high, and such lenses are usually softer. However, if the moisture content is very high, eye secretions can accumulate easily on the surface, making it less hygienic. The moisture content of ACUVUE® contact lenses is 58%, which is considered relatively high and safe.
Fitting: It's very important to match of the shape of the cornea with the lens. ACUVUE® contact lenses come in two curvatures, ensuring they offer the highest comfort levels.
